Since its founding in 1947, Metos Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo / Representative: Shoichiro Yoshinaga), which has been developing three businesses of “hot baths”,“fireplaces and wood-burning stoves” and “welfare” under the motto of “warming people’s minds and bodies”, will open the sauna and goods specialty store “Metos Sauna Soppi Kobe” (hereinafter referred to as “Soppi Kobe”) on November 3, 2023. We have opened at the commercial complex “Mint Kobe” in Kobe Sannomiya.

“Sauna Soppi” means “sauna shop” in Finnish. Sauna Soppi which disseminates information on the culture and lifestyle of Finland, the land of forests and lakes, will open its first store in western Japan, following its first store in Akishima, Tokyo. The second store, Soppi Kobe will focus more on saunas as outdoor play and handle outdoor brands that have landed in Japan for the first time. It is a space where you can imagine how to enjoy the Scandinavian summer and the outdoor scene.
The King of Sauna Heater IKI gives you a great feeling of loyly and is the dream of every sauna lover. The four heatwave masters who did the opening commemorative heat wave also praised the loyly feeling of this heater. Soppi Kobe has a lineup of IKI heaters made in Finland. Soppi Kobe is the only place in Japan where you can see so many of IKI heaters at the same time. We are currently selling a limited number of T-shirts and sauna hats with the IKI logo on them.
Rento is a long-established brand of sauna goods that almost everyone in Finland knows about. Rento’s aroma oils are meant to be enjoyed during a loyly steam bath, in which water is poured over heated sauna stones. Rento also has everything you need to enjoy the sauna, including sauna thermometers, buckets, ladles, towels and bathrobes to use after the sauna. Collaboration products with famous designers and Scandinavian textile designs can be incorporated into your room interior and are also popular as gifts.
MUSTANG, a Finnish outdoor brand that is popular in Northern Europe, will be landing in Japan for the first time. Northern European countries, which have long sunshine hours in the summer, are great BBQ nations. MUSTANG has a lineup of many goods, centering on his highly designed BBQ grills based on matte black color. In Northern Europe, there are many scenes where people gather around a fire while having a snack after sauna. You can imagine the Scandinavian lifestyle just by listening to how the products are used.

At Soppi Kobe, you can experience four saunas “IGLU SAUNA”, “TAIVE SAUNA”, “CLT SAUNA” and “TENT SAUNA”. You can actually see, touch, and purchase products that you are satisfied with. There is also a sauna where you can actually experience self-loyly, and you can also try the aroma scent. We are developing an experience-based store that is not possible inside a hot bath facility, such as trying out sauna items and taking photos.
