Dear Sauna From Finland Members,
Thank you all for your continued support in sharing the “good news” of Finnish sauna! Every year that passes, despite the challenges we have faced, the reception for this amazing and enjoyable experience continues to increase and blossom into the world renowned experience it deserves to be. Whilst this year is particularly tough for many individuals, there is still a good buzz in our industry worldwide.
This years World Sauna Forum was yet another brilliant event put on by the Sauna From Finland team, with many new faces and plenty old returning ones. I am uplifted by the participation and excited to see how this further manifests in future years. A few weeks ago I, together with Alan from Kivia in Canada, undertook a skills exchange, where we hosted Alan here at Finnmark Sauna and it is our intention to head over to Canada next year to do the same. This was an excellent way to see how different markets do different things and the opportunities that you might not have thought about for your market. I hope to help expand this Skills Exchange program next year to more fellow members and warmly invite any members interested to get in touch.
As I pour a giant ladle of water over my sauna kiuas this Christmas (from the giant ladle that comes with the Sauna Ambassador position), I will be thinking of you all. Now more than ever we should aim to work together to get through the tough times ahead and ensure that Authentic Finnish Sauna continues to be at the forefront of wellness internationally!
